During three exciting days, I have been representing Thomas Betong at samhällsbyggnadsdagarna in Stockholm. The event has a strong focus on sustainability and we received a lot of questions about how the company is working with sustainability.

One exiting target is that the Swedish concrete industry aims to have climate neutral products by the year 2030 and that we today can produce concrete with an up to 30 % lower carbon footprint.

Beyond rewarding discussions about sustainability, I also got the opportunity to attend different seminars. For instance, the transport administration lectured about what the do to lower their environmental impact in infrastructure projects.
