Five weeks ago, my trainee program at Thomas Concrete Group ended and it was time for me to step into my new role as Business Development Analyst. It was not decided in advance what roles we trainees (me and Anna) would get after the trainee program. This was decided during the year together with Hans Karlander, CEO at Thomas Concrete Group. It is really a great opportunity to be able to influence/design your own role in this way. 

In my role as Business Development Analyst I will for example work with identifying opportunities for development, as well as taking part in- and manage different projects. In this role, I will work with both IT and Business Development - two areas that I personally find very interesting and current.

I have already got my first project as a Project Manager, which is incredibly fun! The project is about implementing our successful customer portal Min Betong^TM in Germany (Already available in Sweden! You find it here: https://minbetong.se). In Germany, our customer portal will be called Mein Beton^TM.

A few weeks into my new role, I really feel that the ground that I have gotten from the trainee year at Thomas Concrete Group is very useful! Firstly, I now have a very wide network, and secondly, I have knowledge and understanding in many different areas within the company.

To summarize: A great year at TCG has passed and I am really looking forward to the upcoming challenges in my new role!
